At present the Las Cruces International Airport is not served by any scheduled commercial passenger flights and is only served by the private charters.
The Las Cruces International Airport is the home base for 135 aircrafts and 209 flight operations are carried out daily at this airport. It is also important to note here that this airport is used by the general aviation, private charters and the CAP squadron. This airport also includes two fixed base operators that are the Adventure Aviation and the Southwest Aviation.
As far as the El Paso International Airport concerned, it is situated four miles northeast of the region of the central business district and covers an area of 6,800 acres and includes three runways. It is adorned with 15 gates that grace the two concourses.
The El Paso International Airport is a public airport and it is served by numerous airlines such as the American Airlines (the second largest airline of the world), Continental Airlines (a U.S certified air carrier as well as the fourth largest airline of the United States), Delta Connection that is operated by the Sky West, Express Jet Airlines, Frontier Airlines, Southwest Airlines, US Airways, New Mexico Airlines and apart from these airlines, this airport is served by other airlines as well.
