Cities in New Mexico

New Mexico, one of the leading states of the US, is home to some of the most important cities of the US. Some of these Cities in New Mexico are Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Las Cruces, Roswell, Rio Rancho and Farmington. Albuquerque is the biggest city of New Mexico and is the seat of the Bernalillo County.

Albuquerque has a rich past and is home to some of the most beautiful attractions of New Mexico including the high-risers, Popejoy Hall, The New Mexico Symphony Orchestra, Albuquerque Biology Park and the Old Town Albuquerque. Santa Fe is the capital of New Mexico and also the third biggest city of state, apart from being the seat of Santa Fe County. Tourism is one of the prime aspects of economy in Santa Fe, some of the most important tourist attractions in Santa Fe being New Mexico State Capitol, Loretto Chapel and Palace of the Governors.



Las Cruces is the seat of Dona Ana County and is the home to Aguirre Springs National Recreation Area, New Mexico State University and New Mexico Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum. Roswell is the fifth biggest city of New Mexico as well as the seat of Chaves County. Rio Rancho is the prime financial hub and biggest city of Sandoval County, apart from being the fourth-biggest and fastest developing city of New Mexico. Farmington is situated in San Juan County with its chief industries being natural gas, coal and oil.
